Maan Farms in Abbotsford: The Ultimate Fall Experience

Kicking off our pumpkin patch tour is Maan Farms in Abbotsford. Opening its doors on September 14th, this farm is a must-visit for anyone looking to dive headfirst into the fall season. They offer pre-sale tickets with a 15% discount, which is a great way to save a bit if you’re planning ahead. General admission starts at $18 on weekdays and $23 on weekends. But if you’re looking for the best bang for your buck, their $45 package includes a pumpkin, a pumpkin sipper, and a fall season pass. For more info check their website.

What makes Maan Farms stand out is their incredible selection of seasonal desserts. If you’re like us and have a sweet tooth, their signature mini donuts are an absolute must. There’s nothing quite like munching on a warm, sugary treat while wandering through the pumpkin patch. But the fun doesn’t stop there! The farm also has a fantastic barnyard area where kids can meet the animals and a massive jumping pillow that’s a hit with the little ones. While strollers are permitted, I’d recommend leaving them behind if you plan to venture into the pumpkin patch or corn maze, as the mud can make it a bit challenging to navigate.

Richmond Country Farms: Flowers, Pumpkins, and Farm Fun

Next up is Richmond Country Farms, where the pumpkin fields are only part of the attraction. What really sets this place apart is the amazing field of seasonal flowers that you can explore with your ticket. The setup is perfect for those Instagram-worthy fall photos, with vibrant blooms and pumpkins providing a picturesque backdrop.

Your entry ticket also includes a pumpkin, which you can pick straight from the field. The experience wouldn’t be complete without a ride on one of their hay wagons, which comes with music and entertainers to keep the whole family smiling. And for the foodies out there, you’ll love the selection of vendors offering up tasty treats. Don’t forget to stop by and check out the farm animals, or if you’re in the mood for a little something extra, visit their winery next to the market. It’s a great way to end the day, sipping on a glass of local wine while the kids enjoy their pumpkin haul.

Laity Pumpkin Patch is perfect for families with young children. They’ve designated a special area just for the little ones, complete with playgrounds and activities that are sure to keep them entertained. One of our favourite parts of this patch is the trail filled with fun, interesting art characters that your kids will definitely love. It’s a more laid-back experience compared to the other farms, but still full of charm and plenty of opportunities to create lasting memories. Check their website here.
